About
Dr Smita Sarmah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law, Cotton University. She did her graduation in English Literaturte from Cotton College, Guwahati and Masters in English Literature from Gauhati University. She has done her LL.B., LL.M. and Ph.D. from Gauhati University.
Dr Sarmah teaches Legal Research Methodology, Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Intellectual Property Law, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and Cyber Law. Her area of interest is Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and currently working on her work on Right to Privacy in the context of Cyberspace.
